The historic Chinese Gardens is situated 2km north of Walhalla Post Office and is available for overnight or extended camping. Campsites are predetermined and must be booked through the General Store - telephone 03 5165 6227, by email walhallamuseum@activ8.net.au or use the Enquiry form on this page.

Facilities

• An amenities block consisting of 5 shared lockable bathroom units each with a shower, toilet and hand-basin.
• Coin operated shower ($1 coins)
• A laundry with coin operated washer and dryer (4 x $1 coins).
• Clothes washing soap powder dispenser (2 x $1 coins).
• Hot and cold water points.
• Barbeque shelter with 2 electric BBQs picnic tables.
• Rubbish bins.

Caravans

• There is limited access for caravans depending on the skill of the driver.
• We do not recommend vans over 22’ try to use the Chinese Gardens due to access difficulty.
• There is a turning circle at the end of the driveway in the South Field.

There are no Refunds of Camping Fees.

The Chinese Gardens is closed to camping during winter. In 2017 we close on Tuesday 13^th June and reopen on Friday 22^nd September
